Sausage Dog Shortbread

For this simple but really tasty recipe you'll only need 3 ingredients: 180 grams of plain flour, 55 grams of sugar (plus some extra to finish) and 125 grams of butter. 
Preheat your oven to 190C or gas mark 5. Combine butter and sugar until creamed, then add the flour gradually to create a smooth mixture. Flour a work surface and roll out your mix. Shape into your desired design, I went for a sausage dog cookie cutter but you could do fingers, rounds or stars! Chill your shapes in the fridge for 20-30 minutes, sprinkle with your extra sugar and bake for 15-20 minutes! Then let them cool down on a wire rack for 15 minutes and enjoy.
