(photo taken by my lovely and talented little sister, Lucy - she has a blog too!)
I recently popped back to London for a few days for a quick trip home and to go and see one of my favourite bands, Deftones. I had a really lovely time back at home and managed to go to a few of my favourite places in London including the amazing Breakfast Club, Snog and Liberty's. I unfortunately didn't get to take that many photos as I was slightly wary of bringing my camera to the gig afterwards.
However before going out that evening my mum treated my sister and I to breakfast at our local cafe, Tartine. I went for a lemon and sugar crepe as I missed out on pancake day and have been craving one ever since. I Then went for a smoothie called Raspberry Heaven, which was made with raspberry's, papaya, mango and blueberry's. My sister choose Strawberry Delight and Croissant (w/ Jambon & Fromage) which looked pretty incredible.
Deftones were amazing as to be expected and it was well worth the journey down. Chino Moreno is possibly one of the coolest people ever, you can't help but have a good time when you're in his presence. Deftones really know how to engage a crowd and played a few of my all time favourites including; Be Quiet and Drive, Feiticeira, Cmnd/Ctrl and Change. I really wished they had played my favourite song - Back to School, I hope one day I'll get to see it live. It was the second time I've been lucky enough to see them and it will hopefully not be the last.
What have you been up to? I'd love to know in the comments below.
